Wildest Ride In the Wilderness

Purchase This Photo

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. One of my favorite rides growing up and as old as it is (opening in 1979) it still hasn't lost it's magic. Here we are standing on one of the bridges crossing into Frontierland in Disneyland, waiting for one of the trains to race by.  This fast action HDR was taken with 3 exposures and ghosting was eliminated within Photomatix.

Good Morning Osaka!

Purchase This Photo

Although one of my first serious photos and taken with a cheap point and shoot Canon SD1000, this picture still mean a whole lot to me. In October of 2008 we took our first trip to Japan. Morning in Osaka we so calm and peaceful. Mainly because businesses don't open till around 11AM. Perfect for us early rising westerners to walk around and take pictures.

Golden Gate Bridge(s)

Shot on a clear December night this post processed HDR image of the Golden Gate Bridge has an almost magical feeling to it. In addition to the purplish hue to the path that seems to lead right to it.

Taken about a month later on an overcast night and from the same spot, this HDR version of the Golden Gate Bridge is a little closer to how my eye saw it. It goes to show the you can never take a bad shot of the GGD.
